This coastal drive takes at least four days to do, but the sights that you see along the way are worth every second of driving time. As you go along Highway 1, you’ll want to stop at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, the Pt. Lobos State Natural Reserve, Hearst Castle, and Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. In many of these areas, you and your family will spot otters, seals, sea lions, and sometimes even a whale or two.
6. Kennedy Space Center

Actors spend their days recreating the events of those early years for you, and you can watch as they farm, cook, and do their other daily chores. Don’t miss seeing Plymouth Rock when you are there, it is much smaller than you think it is, and take your time aboard the Mayflower II, which is a replica of the original.
9. City Museum
This museum can be found in St. Louis and kids of all ages will love crawling through the suspended tunnels and man-made caves. We recommend taking a ride on the Ferris wheel that is up on the top of the building before sliding down the ten-story slide.
